About Us

Body Balance introduced Corvallis to Pilates over 25 years ago with a reformer, mat classes, and a desire to help others. Debi Clark took over the business in 2004 and moved the studio to our current 1200 sq. foot facility in downtown Corvallis. She has gradually added more equipment (reformers, chairs, cadillacs, spine correctors, ladder barrel) and many props over the last 14 years. Our second floor studio is quiet and private with a changing room and complimentary water, tea, and snacks.

 

Debi loves getting to know her clients and helping them to feel the best can in a safe, supportive and nonjudgemental environment. Many have been with her for over 10 years.

The Pilates Method

Pilates is a highly effective form of total body conditioning created by Joseph H. Pilates in the early 1900’s. The Pilates Method is comprised of a series of low impact exercises that focus on strengthening core muscles in order to improve balance, flexibility, strength, posture and alignment. Pilates is safe and suitable for all ages, fitness levels and body types.
